Shoulder Pain
Shoulder pain is a common medical issue that can arise from various causes. It may result from muscle strains, ligament injuries, overuse, or underlying medical conditions like arthritis. Rotator cuff injuries, frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis), and bursitis are prevalent shoulder problems. The pain can range from mild discomfort to severe, restricting movement and affecting daily activities. Diagnosis often involves a physical examination, imaging (X-rays, MRI), and patient history. Treatment approaches vary based on the cause and severity of the pain. They can include rest, physical therapy, medications (pain relievers, anti-inflammatories), corticosteroid injections, and, in severe cases, surgery. Early intervention and proper management are crucial for relieving shoulder pain and preventing chronic issues.
